Graffiti, glorious graffiti.

Who are these denizens of the night, gracing our walls and laneways with art, unseen by day, loved by some, reviled by the pillars of establishment. Don't you just love them?

Great Barney … must get me one of those lenses … even though I am a paid up member of the Flat Earth Society …

Thanks, I like the lens so much that I’ve had one fitted permanently…
Lens used to take these images was a Sigma 15mm f2.8 on a Canon EOS 5D MkII full frame DSLR

    Hi Barney,
Comgratulations on your graffti work. Where in Melbourne are the graffitied buildings on the top of the frame? I have always loved graffiti, when it is done well. I only wish the graffiti artist who left there work on the side of my home in Collingwood was of a higher artistic standard!
Diane (Denny forwarded your site to me)

    Hi Diane
    Glad you like it!
If you meant the image right at the top, that comes from Canterbury Salesyards Co. Ltd in Christchurch New Zealand. I have taken a lot of photos of this site, hope you’ll come to my exhibition to see them in the large.

    Hi Barney,

Hoekom het jy jou kreatiwiteit so lank weggesteek! Die ‘shots’ van die ‘alley’ is ‘awesome’ Mooi man, ek hou van die komposisies. Die ‘wide angle’ gee n baie abstrakte eind resultaat. Ek ‘laaik it’ stukkend.
